Children’s Books vs. Diet Books

Welcome to my blog. My humorous children’s book aren’t out yet. Consequently, I’ll use my blog to share some diet tips.

If you’ve seen my 1-minute diet videos on YouTube, you know i used to weigh 200 pounds. There are thousands of diets on the market, and I think I’ve tried all of them. After many years, I’ve discovered there is one way guaranteed to help you shed those nasty pounds. COUNT CALORIES.

I know counting calories is annoying and boring, besides time-consuming, but here is a fact. If you eat more than you burn off, you will gain weight. If you eat less than you burn off, you will lose weight. It’s simple science.

Counting calories used to be complicated, but now, thanks to technology, it’s not nearly as complicated as it used to be. Here’s how.

First, figure out how many calories you need for your body. Talk to your doctor or Google it. I do 1,200, one cup of berries, one piece of fresh fruit, and unlimited green vegetables. (Guys need at least 1,500.)

Next, learn how to count calories.  You can look each food up on your phone or computer, or they have apps on your phone. I’m old school. I carry a little book in my purse. If the food comes in a box, can, or bottle, it’s on the back of the package.

Finally, try it for a week and see. Not easy, but not that hard either.
